Guns or Sneakers???

Those of you who know me, probably are already familiar with my vision of America's future, but for those of you who aren't, allow me to explain...

There are way too many people in this country (USA) who are constantly complaining about losing this right or that...or they complain that criminals have all the freedom...or they whine about privacy or government intrusion...but you know what they all have in common?

FEAR

These people, who make up about 75% of America's population, are afraid that their semi-dispised, semi-loved, semi-free country will eventually become a semi-dictatorship. Unfortunately, I don't think that is where we're headed...

The threat to America doen't come from the government, but rather from the people who are complaining about it. "But complaining doesn't do anything," you say...you may be right, but what is ALWAYS the eventual step to follow complaints? Action. These people who are complaining about gun rights, invasion of privacy, reduction of liberties, smoking bans, and other things are going to take actions that will cause so much internal fighting (yes, with guns) that outside threats, who previously thought America to be strong and united, will use the opportunity to do their damage and cripple this country!!!!

*...So now on to my point for the day... *

I gave my vision so that I could ask this question: If such a disaster is actually coming to the USA, then would it not make sense to try to do something about it before it happens? Or perhaps we should all just get a gun so that we will be able to lock ourselves in our homes while everything caves in around us? Or better yet, let's all go repopulate Mexico and Canada!!!!!
