A flame of doubt

Today I was approached by a young man who claimed to be working for my competition. He told me of a plot to steal an influential client, and although my response was almost instant, what I said was burned into my thoughts for the rest of the day. Unwittingly, I gave myself a new outlook on my business.

I told that young man that If my clients are seduced by his boss, then I haven't done my job very well. Later on, I began to think about that quick response...then I realized that it rings true in most aspects of life. If someone (anyone) is willing to leave you in business, love, friendship, or whatever, then there must have been a problem there to start with.

So with that thought, it only makes sense to evaluate all of your relationships and determine if ANYTHING external could pull them away. If you believe that there is a possibility, then you still have time to make corrections.

My mentor once told me, "Every life has a bond to every other, these bonds are unbreakable from the outside without internal degredation."
