Cascading Dreams

In the wake of yesterday's tragedy I find many people comparing it to 9/11. But the question I pose is, If the IRA have been bombing the UK for years, then why does one terrorist attack warrant so much attention?

I think it's being made into such a big stink because of WHO did it rather than WHAT was done. If it had been some Irish freedom fighter, we in America never would have heard about it, but since it was supposedly people from the middle east it's plastered on every major network.

Yes, it was horrible. Yes, people died. Yes, my prayers are with them. But don't act like it hasn't already been happening over there! CNN has just given the middle eastern terrorists more power than the IRA, how do you think that makes them feel?
